Horses have taught me what it looks like to rest. To trust. To belong to Love.
You love God. You love your horse.Â
But you long for more.Â
Most of what we’ve been taught ~in horsemanship and in faith ~ focuses on behavior.
What’s right. What’s wrong. What's broken and needs to be fixed.
 Underneath my horse's behavior, there is are beliefs and a need for safety.Â
When that need is misunderstood,connection feels fragile. And my horse feels unsafe.
What if the struggle isn’t something to fix, but something to understand?
What if the tension, the striving, the disconnect ~Â are actually pointing to something deeper?
What if I could "tell" my horse that I have broken the law of predator and prey?
Not everywhere. But between Scooter and me, there is no longer a predator/prey dynamic.
That changes everything.
What if Jesus broke the law of sin and death? What would that change for me?
The cross changed everything.
This is how brokenness is beautiful. The power of death has been broken.Â
When I know who I am in Christ, I am free to approach my horse from a full heart.
Giving, not taking. Resting, not striving.
My horse learns how to receive, not take. Respond, not react.
The cross changed EVERYTHING.
New Life Horsemanship is more than a method.
It’s a way of living, moving, and relating~
where the human, living from Abundant Life, becomes a source of safety,
and the horse responds from trust, not fear.
In that process… something deeper is revealed.

Do you know what (or who) Jesus rescued you from? It's not just Hell. Jesus rescued you from fear, anxiety, broken beliefs. You do NOT belong to death anymore. It's impossible to walk in Abundant Life if you don't know what this means.

I bought Scooter for $500.00. Now he is mine. I get to say what he's worth. And there is not enough money on the planet to buy him from me.
Jesus paid for you with His blood. He gets to say what you are worth. You are worth His very life. Jesus has proclaimed that NOBODY will snatch you from His hand.
Reconciled
Who is the author and finisher of my faith? Jesus.
